Thanks Marco! I just talked to that eKart Bahn Palast. I had to act fast bc they were short on open slots for Friday night. The only time that is free is at 22:00 and later. I made a reservation for 22:00 for up to 14 karts. I can change this to less karts IF we need too. I know there are a some 1addicts guys who will be doing the Karts. What do you guys think? cost: 34 euros for 10 lpas practice and 25 race laps for thier eKarts. They also have food (pizza) and mini-golf there too. http://www.kartpalast.de/#http://www...akt,5,0,8.html Kabel Eins video: http://www.kabeleins.de/auto/abenteu...o-kart_165907/ I think I am gonna look for a Hotel near the Karting Palast. This Go Kart place is near the South West part of Munich - just off the A8 by the looks of it. Kart Palast Funpark Gewerbegebiet GADA A8 Gadastr. 9 85232 Bergkirchen Dackel PS: for the special secret event on Friday - we need to meet at the Welt at 11:30. PLEASE PM me if you are coming!!! Parking os really tight where we are going... and we need to car pool over to the "special event". Dackel's and Marco's Tours Inc. For Saturday's car show we should have a TON of 1er's I think at last count I saw over 41 guys confirmed! |

Can't go Friday...will meet Sat morning
Just so you all know, I have a shoot Friday so have to pull out of the secret tour. I will go down early Sat.
As BimmerJim says, "I love the smell of the autobahn burning in the morning"..or something like that. I'm staying overnight Sat...down in Oberammergau area and do some driving and photos through the mountains between Oberammergau and Garmisch. Anyone want to join me? |

I actually considered staying down there or Garmisch. Let me pass it by the wife and I'll let you know. As of right now I'll be down Fri eve and stay through Sats events and drive back Sat night. But it's still open.

I think Nick and I might stay in Garching Friday night. There is a cheap ibis and etap hotel there. 50 euros per night and open late. Plus BMW's M GmbH is just down the tsreet to "look" at what is being "tested". I think there is also a car wash strasse (self) near by there too.
For Saturday I was thinking about staying near the ausfahrt gasthaus - near Bad Aibing. But Garmisch also sounds temping. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...ac8773b570180d Hummm... Rick where are you staying in Garmisch/Oberamergau? Dackel |

Btw guys... I just found a great deal on a Hotel for Friday night in Munchen. I found it on Trivago. Saved over 40 euros! 61 euros per night. Almost the same price as etap. lol Here is the hotel I will stay at: http://www.hotel-lechnerhof.de I would book thru Trivago though.
www.trivago.de Now I gotta find a hotel for Saturday. It looks like the drive into the Alps - we will end up a quite a nice Bier Garten! It looks like it is also part of a grand Schloss. Maxlrain, Tuntenhausen It's near Bad Aibling. http://www.google.de/search?q=Maxlra...w=1682&bih=862 Maybe Marco can tell us more? Last edited by Dackelone; 05-18-2011 at 06:53 PM.. |

That is what Nick said too. Looks like I must have gotten their last "cheap" room rate. lol Marco - Do you know where a good self service wash straße is near the Welt? I think I saw one in Garching last time. But I can't remember for sure. I know there is a bog Aral on the B13 where you turn to head for Graching coming from the Welt. I think in that Einkaufzentrum near the FIZ there must be also a wash straße. ??? Dackel |

Ok, See you guys tomorrow. Nick and I are meeting up on the A9 autobahn. We will then drive South to Munchen. We should be at the Welt around 11am or so. That way we can look around and get somthing to drink/eat.
As for Saturday's car show at the Welt... I forgot to tell everyone that Thorsten from www.car-coding.de will be there too! He can code anyones car IF they want too. So bring some euros with you. He can code our AE to be brighter or the M3 digital speedo, or fold the mirros with the key fob, ect. Looks like we will have about forty (or more) 1er's for Saturday's car show. I found the Self Service car wash place I remembered seeing in Garching. As an added perk BMW's M GmbH is just down the street from there (on DaimlerStr)! Wash & Dry Niels-Bohr-Straße 11 85748 Garching Dackel |
