It looks like the exhaust tips stick out way far from the pics that firebolt posted. I hope I'm just looking at it wrong

Sounds good how much did you pay for the full exhaust?
It was $350 with install.

The tips don't stick out a lot actually. Maybe like an inch or two more then oem

Only $350? Where did you get it from?

I know I dont have a 128i, but I have magnaflow exhaust on my 135i. To see video click link in my sig. I've had magnaflow on previous cars, always sounds good to me.

They stick out 1"-2" more than stock? That sounds like a lot...looks like a lot in the pics, too.

But my BMW Performance exhaust looks like it sticks out a tad too far from certain angles and looks correct from others, so who knows. This is all pretty subjective stuff anyway.

If the tips do in fact stick out even an 1" over stock and are bigger in diameter than the video posted, I will have to pass on this exhaust. Doesn't look good at all IMO.

im pretty sure you can choose how far you want it to stick out, the instructions say to cut 7 inches from cat backs and slide the rest on. I am assuming if you cut 6.5 inches, it will be closer. I also don't want it to stick out, however, the tips sizes are bigger then normal.

I put the BMW Performance exhaust on the day my 128i Cabrio was delivered. Looks and sounds great...and it's an OEM BMW part.

^ It's a little loud at first, but as others have said, it settles down some after a month or so. Thanks to 20% dealer discount for BMWCCA membership, I was able to get this update at a VERY reasonable price, too.

Just got It installed. For those who are wondering, you can adjust the tip depth. The tech showed me. You can put it inward so that you can't really see the exhaust, or you can pull it out and make it look ricer/long. I chose the middle. It sticks out similar to stock, so you can see the exhaust. And my tips r HUGE!! I like it!!

Will post a review later

Holy Shit!!! What kind of motor did that Camaro have in it?? LOL. Tips not bad at all, but I think I'm going to order the BMW PE, I like the stock exhaust sound, just want to magnify it a little. Nice pics
