me too, the pics from the car show look too boring... if you're gonna buy red seats, it's because you want to smile when you're sitting at an intersection or when you're walking toward the car to enter it... it's one of those things that you can enjoy without going 100 mph... however, i'd let someone else take the $1500 hit of buying it before i did... lol

Here's a slightly random question but: why is BMW so opposed to aluminum pedals? Is it too much to ask to have a sports coupe come standard with something other than plastic pedal covers?

I prefer rubber pedals, i had metal ones in my 350z and they were slippy. Plus you never see them in normal use.

Just got back from the TO auto show.

It's definitely coral interior; looks absolutely fantastic in person; and yes, it's open.

Interesting side note, the Audi R8 was open to the public as well :headbang:

+1 saw them on Monday..
It's a subtle red, not a vibrant colour that you might tire of.

The picture above make it look much brighter than it really is. In person, it's definitely red, but more subdued than those pictures suggest.

They look orangish (and brighter) in your pic!

I know what you mean though. Check out the fifth gear video for real world shots of the red leather in the background!

Lucky Canadians get the 261s. So they will be offered in NA. The US just does not get them as a factory option.
