Thanks! I can't wait either especially with this unseasonably warm weather we are having now in December!

Got out to the shop this morning. Car is getting very close to completing this phase of the build. Then off to address some thrown codes and then hopefully to get on MOTIV's schedule for more of their power gain & tuning voodoo!

Custom metal vacuum line nipple/post welded to Meistershaft axle-back section

RevoZport CF rear diffuser fully installed:

Berk resonated mid-pipe:

RevoZport CF front splitter installed with test-fit of custom aluminum uprights. The uprights that came from RevoZport were too small IMO and only secure to the 1M front bumper cover. I did not think that this was sufficient for speeds I expect to reach (150+mph) at Watkins Glen and other tracks), so I asked Nate to fabricate me longer ones with better hardware to secure to metal front bumper cross member. They will be sent out to be powder coated and the hardware to secure to splitter will be on par (and not the bulky nut and bolts as pictured.

Seats and belts are in. Interior 90+% completed.

I love the E87 patch in the carpet that the rear seat delete reveals.

Nate surprised me with this custom fabrication to route the cold air over to where MOTIV's kit has the K&N air filter (opposite side as stock. This is a masterpiece IMO. Totally unexpected! It will be sent out to get powder coated black. I love how it just slides in like it came from the factory like that *and* that the forward plastic "snorkles" will just screw in like factory.

And then finally for today's rounds of posts and updates. Here is a link to iPhone video (apologize in advance for sloppy camera work) to a somewhat warm start of my 1 with MOTIV750 kit, berk resonated mid-pipe and Meisterschaft 1M axle-back setup. Video doesn't quite do it justice. Cold start is a LOT louder. More of these to come this springs and after I get more things addressed/checked off the list.

Some really good updates in here. Car looks amazing. I like the idea of your splitter struts. I used APR on my Revozport and have gone 165mph and it all held up but I'm not going to lie, i felt a little scared of the splitter and backed off. Your set up looks more confident inspiring.

I saw on the 135 Private Group on FaceBook that someone posted that the BMW stock plastic piece for a 335d routes the air over to the left like Nate had fabricated for me. You may want to check that part out (not sure how much BMW charges for that part) and see if you can modify it to fit your application/needs.

Thanks!

I really appreciate it. Means a LOT coming from someone who also pushed all their "chips" into the center of the table and went "ALL-IN" with your 1M clone with S65 V8 swap!

well as a follow up that part will not work. the air intakes aren't spaced out enough

only solution is custom i guess.

Made it out to the shop this Saturday. Met 1LittleMonster, gave him a great deal on my 18" APEX ARC-8 wheels since they wouldn't fit my application (since I didn't perform the 1M rear subframe conversion). 1 is getting *VERY* close to completing this phase of the build. Waiting on trunk lid to get resprayed then off to get polished & buffed, detailed and few few minor re-assembly issues (driver's door lock actuator not working and a few other small things to address).

Front view of ER Comp Dual oil coolers and ER air diverters powder coated black (hood is down but unlatched). Thanks to ilikebmxbikes for a great deal this kit a while back.

Custom cold-air intake air diverter back from powder coating and installed.

This round wrapping up...

I made it out to the shop this past weekend. It was a beautiful Saturday morning for pics. Here are the latest as this round of work wraps up. Note, front bumper cover was just put on for pics and not properly secured (so there gaps that won't be there when properly installed).
