HD video of a sexy LeMans
Photo shoot of my car will be coming soon. I decided to mess around with my glidecam and my canon 7D and take some test shots of my car. Let me know what you think!

On the video, the car looks much darker than LeMans Blue...also, your title says HD however the quality doesn't seem up there. What gives?

The movie was shot using HD but surely compressed to reduce download time I guess.

This, Because the video size is so large coming out of the 7D because of the 1080p and the quality, I had to render it down and compress it. I'm still trying to figure out a codec that will look nicer than that.

$370 it's a really good item for the price, definitely something you should invest in if you plan to make more films
And for the prores, I can already transcode the footage using compressor, so I can edit in pro res 422 HQ, but my question is, how are you exporting the footage before uploading to vimeo so that you're maintaining top quality? Are you using H.264?

Just remembered what I did. I cut the resolution in half from 1920x1080 to 960x540 so that I could save some room on my account. I only get 500mb a week, and I was trying to save some room. I'll export full quality and see what I can do.

That's strange because I cut my video's resolution in half and the file size was still 90mb.
