Clear Bra Kit?

Does anyone know if someone sales a clear bra kit for the 135i. I did a google search but did come up with much.

I have done 3 in the past and if I can do a Mini with all those curves, I think the 1 should be easy.

BMW sells it directly, call up your parts department... pricing is on the bmw website but i believe the front bumper cover goes for $119.

I just had the 3M clear bra kit installed on my 135i last week. My installer is factory trained by 3M & Xpel. I actually asked him about the BMW kit that the parts dept offers. He actually told me that Xpel is the OEM of the BMW kits. One thing that he said is bad about the BMW kits is that Xpel cuts the kits for BMW and package them up. Who knows how long that kit is sitting on the shelf of the PDC or parts dept. I know the 1s haven't been out for long, but who knows when Xpel cut the kits. It's better to have an installer cut you a fresh kit since the adhesives are fresh/new.

For my clear bra they cut it themselves, actually took them a hell of a long time to put it on, like 6 hours, but they did a great job and it looks great. Well worth it.

How much did it cost? I may visit Vancouver in the near future and might stop by for a bra while I'm there.

I spent around 1200 with them, that was for tint and clear bra. When I find the bill i can give you an exact number. This was for 5 window tint, clear bra on front bumper, front hood, mirrors, rocker panels and rear panel. It seemed the area that was the toughest was the front bumper and mirrors.

i think the bra was quoted in the 400-500 range for hood/mirrors, 400-500 range for bumper/rear and they threw in the rocker panels (apparently another 3-400). In any event I ended up spending 1200 for tint and full clear bra.

What a coincidence.. I spent $800 on complete clear 3M film install and $400 for huper optik window film including the moonroof glass = $1200.
