Lightbulb Just Ordered 2013 128i

Just ordered a 2013 128i Coupe for a family member!

Wanted a 2012 128i coupe with Sport Package....but couldn't find one! Not many 128i's have the sport package.....not sure why. I just don't like the "flat" seats without the sport package. IMO...looks cheap.

So....I ordered a 2012.....but I received a call 2 days later they could not located a Chassis! Cannot order a 2012 according to 2 different dealers in central Florida.

So....got a great deal on a 2013 White/Red 128i Coupe with Premium and M-Sport Packages!!!! Sharp Combo!!!! Comfort Access and Sat-Radio now come in the Premium Package. And...no more sport package....M Sport is the only option. COOL!!!

6-8 weeks!!!!

Congrats!! How's the 3 sedan? I KNEW your username was familiar, and I see you had a 1 vert back in the day. So, welcome back to the family, sorta

Weird how the premium package finally gets some real premium stuff. Used to be leather and dimming mirrors and... That's it lol.

No, but I did get a quote from Fields in South Orlando. They were high.
Very rude in general -- kind of an attitude.
They have kind of a Monopoly is Orlando...but they are not very pleasant to deal with. They do not even honor the "free carwash" to fields customers....

But I don't think they really care...they get plenty of business.

Grats on your 128! I get the exact opposite experience from Fields (South Orlando) on every visit. Never had a single issue, they always go out of their way to keep/earn my business. Sorry to hear that your experience(s) weren't good.

Either way, congrats once again on the new 128.

They are the worst BMW dealer I have ever experienced. I did NOT buy any of mine from there but I lived in Orlando for a while and had to get services done there and they were terrible.

I've been there many times as a service customer and a few times as a potential buyer...some of the weirdest and moodiest people I've ever met...it's quite fascinating actually.

Just one more comment about Fields in Orlando...

It is seriously almost impossible to get that "free car wash."
My last "attempt" at the Fields in South Orlando on Orange Blossom Trail told me they only give car washes if you get service done (like an oil change). When I asked why they gave me an attitude -- and this was the service manager. I think it is their mood they determines if you will get your car wash.

And, 2 days ago (Friday) I was driving by "Fields of Winter Park" -- North Orlando --- requesting a free car wash. I was told it would be 90 minutes. !!!! If I had 90 minutes I would wash the car myself. They just do not care, they want you to leave.

Anyone considering a BMW in Orlando needs to really think if they want to put up with Fields Service for 3-4 years. It's a pain. And frustrating.

The Fields in Lakeland is MUCH better -- never had a problem in the world there. But it's an hour away.

Not sure I"ll be living in Orlando in 2-3 years, but if I do I may not buy a BMW for my next car.

That's just stupid because a car wash costs them virtually nothing and keeps the customer happy.

I think you're better off if they didn't wash your car for you... They'd probably do a lousy job at best and scratch up your car at worst.

I agree. The weird thing is Fields makes a special point of letting you know (several times) that any car bought with them gets free car washes...up to 1 per week. I think that's a nice selling point.......but buyer beware. There is no free lunch I guess.

I'd pass on the Fields Orlando simply based on this detail. If they won't give you something THEY promise, why would they go out of their way to do anything else for you? ?? Much better service in Melbourne (1 hour away) even without a stupid car wash.

Sorry man. Good that you passed it along -- you might want to consider posting something in the SE region section. Sometimes new owners search there for location-specific info.

I agree with bmw1racer above -- better that you didn't get it done there.
