After 1200 mile service....

Do you completely unleash the car or gradually go all out over say the next 2000 miles?

Is there any real risk in not doing the 1,200 mile service on time? I'll be around 1,500 miles. Just curious...

I gradually increased the RPMīs and the power demand for the next 1000 KM after service... I did not go full till almost 4000 KM.

Your poor car was probably thinking "come on man, what is wrong with you?"

I let the car warm up at the dealer then laid tracks pulling out. I fullfilled so many BMW DB stereotypes it wasn't even funny

On a serious note, what's the next scheduled service? Is it 5k miles? I plan on changing the oil then regardless.

Allthough your components are now pretty much 'worn-in', I would at least stick to the pre-service prescribed behavior as all wear-in metal debris is still in your trans/diff/motor oil. It can cause extra wear if you go all out before the run-in service.

Coņo, what were you thinking, this car is made to be driven like bat out of hell. So far, I'm almost there for the service and it has been so therapeutic it's not even funny. Balls to the wall!

Salut
