Owen, yours doesn't have one either? I thought I was the only one. The cars are supposed to come with it, but for some reason it seems like maybe 5-10% of cars have no net as I started a thread about that soon after I got the car and noticed.

I'll address it at some point with the dealer, I just hate the thought of them potentially having to rip out all the liner on the right side of the trunk of my new car if they have to. But, if you want to talk to your dealer about it and see what they say, that'd be swell, too. You can have them look and every 1-series they have I bet has the net but yours. It's very frustrating since it renders that cubby pretty useless without it.

I've got nada. I like the side cubby areas, too. Having a rear cargo net back there would be sweet. Should there be hooks and stuff for a net? I wonder if I even have those. I'll look later today. Unfortunately, my dealer is about 1,500 miles away. I might talk to my local and see what they say.

Came with the car. You and Greg seem to have gotten unlucky in that department. Hopefully your local dealer can help you out.

Ya, any dealer should be able to take care of it, though I'm afraid they may say there's nothing wrong with it. We should have panels with those like 4 plastic anchors/inserts that hold the net, like my last 135, but alas, I literally have nothing.

The BMW fitted luggage trunk mat thing helps a little by creating like a 1.5" lip/side, but my bottle of meguiar's ultimate detailer spray and envelope with my license plates still fly around a bit.

If you find anything out though, I'd love to hear what they say/do.

As an aside, I just got out from a nice drive, windows down, letting her out a bit, so nice to hear that mean exhaust sound again after that silent assassin accord.

I've got nothing. Just carpeted all the way around the rear cubbies, with no plastic or hooks or anything. Anyone want to post a close up of the plastic or hooks or whatever is supposed to be there? I'd like to see it to compare. Thanks in advance!

Hey Greg, if you were to put your specially ordered personalized plate ON your car instead of carrying them around loosely in your trunk, that would solve half your problem. I promise you they will look nicer than that paper dealer plate you've got on the back still after 5 months....

Here's what is on the driver's slide: Just a small bit of elastic for who-knows-what.

And on the passenger's side, here is the net

Full size images are on my imgur page, didn't wanna link em here since they are HUGE. http://worra.imgur.com/all/

Yep. I've got nothing that looks like Worra's rear passenger trunk space. I do have that elastic thing on the driver's side, so I've got that going for me

Thanks for the close-ups. I really appreciate it.

No problem, hopefully you can show that to your dealer and ask them what's up.

Looks like you and greg are not the only ones. Was googling around and looking for part numbers, found this:

Very funny. THey are still in the manila envelope from the DMV. Even when I put the REAR one on, I'll still have the front one in the envelope. So, it'd solve half of half the problem. =P It's going on perhaps tomorrow by the way, along with the fancy valve stem caps, and perhaps 2 quick coats of wax on the wheels to make 'em sparkle along with their new jewelry.

And Owen and Worra, here is also my thread from a few months ago where someone posted the diagram and part numbers and a few others chimed in. Like I said, seems like 10% of people for some unknown reason don't get the net though I don't know what the rhyme or reason is other than they ran out of parts that day on the assembly line:

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=859344

Actually, I just re-read the post and diagrams, and you know what it looks like? I think for those with leatherette, we don't get a net?! What's the rationale for that?

Definitely weird. Could be an ordering glitch like how I got the removable cup holder even though I don't have nav (it's supposed to only come on idrive cars). Apparently if the car is originally ordered with nav and the order is amended, the cupholder doesn't get deleted. So I have three.

Wonder if it's an ordering thing like that.

What's weird is I also have the ambient lighting for some reason, even though I don't have the premium package. And there's always my free comfort access. All sorts of weird ordering glitches and oddities when it comes to these things.

Agreed, great car. However, this thread is for photo of the 135is specifically, just a heads up

That said, love the lemans blue on your car. Just great looking.

Isn't it ALWAYS a beautiful day when you get to look at a mineral gray 135is?

Great pic (and photography) as always.
