I dont think +43 is a good fitment for a 1series. You probably will only be able to run a 245 in the back without work. Most people run a 255 or 265 on the rear with perfect offsets.

Stock offset is 49 front 52 rear. Wheels in the range of ET35-45mm (Front) and ET45-55mm (Rear) should be fine. I don't know if I'd do ET43 in back, though. I'm running 19x8.5 ET35 front and 19x9.5 ET45 rear. I am dropped slightly, and only rub when there's 3 or 4 people in the car over medium dips, or over only going fast over GIANT dips/bumps. It's not bad at all, but it's cutting it close and I wish I had a higher offset in back just to be safe. I'm also running 19 inchers so that'll make it a little harder to fit as well.

The star specs are pretty "square" meaning the shoulders aren't rounded, so I'd go more conservative with the tire size with those versus something with a round shoulder, just to avoid potential rubbing. But you'd be fine with a ET43 front and a ET55 in back. If your suspension is stock, you might be able to fit in a 265 in back, otherwise a 255/35 would be playing it safe. A 235 in front would also work. If you can get some negative camber (say -1.5* all around to be safe, which is achievable with the stock suspension parts if you get a good alignment done), then you'd be safe with 245 in front and a 265 in back.

i ran a 255 with a +45 with shaved fenders, dropped real low, you might want to go 245 just incase, but 255 might be possible with a roll

i was looking to get an aggressive look but still play it save since its a DD. i got my coilovers put in today and i need to know right away what size wheels to get since they take some time to come in. im also looking at some other tires like the toyo r1r around those type of tires.

so your saying to go with:
18x8.5 +43 245/35 front
18x9.5 +55 265/35 rear
