I had to pull the lens off because I also painted the interior grey trim Met Black to match the car. I only did one of the lights tonight. I will do the other one tomorrow cause it takes some time. I will do a write up with pictures on the other headlight.

Nice, besides the DIY, any issues with condensation? I can't imagine BMW doing any warranty work on the light assembly after this mod.

Here's the deal, well barter, bigger turbos in exchange for modding your headlights LMAO. ;-)

I am out of warranty so I am not too concerned. And not sure about condensation yet. I guess when I was the car later we will see...

You can buy them from your BMW dealer. They are like $30 each(!) though. They come with a special box mounted on the bottom of teh bulb. I think RealOEM.com lists teh silver bulbs too.

ohh yea it def will void the warranty! lmao... I was able to successfully do the second light so once it dries and seals and I get the car back together ill post it all up
