BMW base support weight?

On the bmw roof rack kit each rails states it will hold up to 75kg.

Is that each rail so 150kg total?
Thats equal to what 330lbs then total weight the base support system can hold?

I would have thought 75kg is the total between the two rails seeing as they come as a pair (well they do in the UK). Not certain though.

it's probably not safe to put 330lb on top of your car anyways, even 100lb is quite dangerous..
