Is there a way to check my service history?
im looking to buy a used car from a non BMW dealership i was wondering if there was a way to check the veichles service history? autocheck offers nothing. like as if its never had an oil change. the car is a 2011 135i with only 10k miles.

With that low miles, I would not worry about a history. Even if it did not have an oil change it's within BMW's criteria. I would change the oil as soon as I bought it. Then let the next one be changed for free as part of the BMW free maintenance.

If it has been maintained with BMW no cost maint then the data will be stored in the key after every dealership visit. Ask your dealer really nicely to print a full key data + service sheet in the dealerspeed DCSnet software. If they know what they are doing they can get it for you in a snap and no charge.
It should still only have ever been serviced by the dealer since its an 11. Go to the service department for this. Last edited by CACTUS1549; 06-30-2013 at 08:11 PM.. Reason: More info |
