help with nitto N555
I found a complete set of nitto 555 drag radial with same fitment for the 135 almost in new condition only 2,000 milles in my dads garage and i put the rear ones, now the car is with no grip on rear, you dont fell the PULL as i used to with brigetone potenza (original tires). I want to know if since the Nittos are 10 years old (from prodcucion date on tire) they loose traction ? or they need to be warmup for real grip? do tires loose quality(grip) over time?
thanks |

wow that's pretty old! Probably why they don't grip too well. It is recommended to change them if they are that old, even unused spares that are that old.

+1. Tires degrade over time. Most have a lifetime of 6 years or less, depending on how much natural rubber they use, sine it decomposes at a faster rate than the synthetic stuff.
