Halogen bulbs in Xenon housing. possible?
Was wondering if is possible to use the OEM Xenon headlamp units with halogen bulbs in them? I have read countless threads about converting to Xenons but there seems to be a LOT of coding and wiring issues to overcome. I have also looked into the DEPO headlights and I'm not entirely sure that would be a quality product.

I think that DEPO's would be fine and don't think that using xenon bulbs in the halogen housing (is that what you meant?) would work. I know when I had my E36M that many others ran DEPO headlights without issue.

Thanks guys... just on the fence about depo as I heard the plastic outer covers get brittle and scar easily. Also I have yet to meet anyone with depo on an e82/e88 for me to check out in person.

I personally wouldn't go with the DEPO's as they are cheaply made. Just my opinion. Save some money and get the factory HID lights. Yeah, they are expensive, but the quality is worth it in the long run
