Simian - tell your car to hurry up! We got a boat leaving on the 23rd for the west coast that a couple of us should be on.
Should be interesting to actually see pictures of a lifestyle edition since the only ones anyone has seen are ones in a couple of press photos and the mineral white 128 convertible they had at the auto show recently. |

As of yesterday (i.e. 800 line status), my car was on its way to the port. I just checked again for kicks but the 800 line is down for maintenance until tomorrow morning, so I'll check again then. Hopefully my car will arrive in time and there will be room on the ship. It's a 1 after all, so it only takes up half the room of a 5GT. |

Sent you a PM, but the name of the boat should be Toreador which docks Sunday the 23rd and arrives in Port Hueneme on April 17. Granted, I don't have any confirmation I'll be on that boat, but I'm at the port just waiting and that's the next one coming in. So, they better have room for ME, then Kouper, and we'll squeeze you in. Any 5GTs should be pushed into the ocean anyways as a waste of a car. =)
1's trump all! They're...#1?? Ask your sales person though about the status cause they get real time info whereas the 800 # is usually about a day or two behind. Quote:

Ain't soon enough!!!! Even once it gets on the boat hopefully tomorrow it's another 3-4 weeks til I get to see her.
Man, I suddenly sound like a pregnant woman saying "I can't wait to meet my baby." I'm so embarrassed now. |

Yes, but it gives you more time to name your baby. You ARE going to name her, aren't you?

I believe I've settled on a name, but cannot disclose it. I thoroughly researched the list of german names and their meanings, in spite of others stealing Sabine. I found one more fitting for mine since I cannot call it Eva The Misbehava, Jr., after my last 135.

Simian, is it true what you stated, that ALL 135i's already come with the sport suspension? so a ZED 135i will have the sport suspension?

Yes, Sport Suspension is standard on all 135 models. Check the default features: http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Content/Vehicles/2013/1/135iCoupe/Features_and_Specs/default.aspx?from=/Standard/Content/Vehicles/2013/1/135iCoupe/Features_and_Specs.aspx&return=/Standard/Content/Vehicles/2013/1/135iCoupe/Features_and_Specs.aspx
Also, note that the M Sport package does not include Sport Suspension on 135 models because it's already standard. Others can confirm and please check with your dealer, of course, but I'm 99.9% positive of this info. So ZED may end up working very well for you if you can live with the fineline wood trim (which I think looks amazing with the brown leather). Just buy it and join the club, dammit!!! |
