Is BMW Accepting Orders?
So the configurator is up, the date has been announced, so are dealerships able to submit official orders to BMW NA?
I'm getting anxious as I'm planning on doing ED and flights are getting any cheaper and I want to start solidifying my plans. |

No allotments for 1er production have been given to dealers yet, AFAIK.

Orders can now officially be order banked or, in other words, pre-reserved. This for 128i, 135i coupes, and 128i convertibles.
So we can enter the order in, specify the model, and put your name on it in BMW's ordering system. |

My salesmen just called and said next week he should be able to put in an order, he also believes the cars will arrive around March 15th.
...and yes I'm still first on the list.

I just emailed my dealer about ordering and here's what he said:
"Yep, Lets go! Online ordering opened up yesterday. Let’s build your car. I already put in a dummy order for you to hold your spot as Number 1 in the system. Come by and we’ll build it out to your specs." |

That's great. I'm going to trot down to my dealer today.
