Voice on your NAV...
Hi guys, the loaner 3 series I had for 5 days had a cute English female voice. The 1'er I collected tonight has an abrasive female American voice (no offense meant to any abrasive American females reading this). I have Professional Nav, the 3'er had Business Nav.
What do you have and, more importantly, can I change it??

Firstly congrats Simon..Car looks great.
Secondly I have pro nav and have been trying to change that voice with no success.. If you manage to work it out let us all know.. |

I've got Business Nav and have the english female voice. I don't think the voice can be changed

Pro Nav with American as well.... although I personally don't think it is a full blown US accent. More like a English girl who has lived in America for a while, or vice versa...:wink:

I'm getting used to it. She does seem to make some funny decisions about route though. I had to 'override' a few of the sillier ones today. I did like the sliding filler on the Business Nav that decreased as you got closer to the turn. The perspective view is great though, had it set to 2km resolution on the 'motorway' this arvo - haven't yet used it to go somewhere I don't know.
It rained on the way home tonight, love the auto speed wipers. Had to find the demist option in a hurry though, the thing fogged up real quick when I got in.
