Really can't go wrong unless you drop bolt into the engine. It is a very straightforward process.

You'll be fine. I managed to do it with a degree in Legos.

Installation is the easy part. The hardest part is keeping track of the wiring; where they connect, where they route, etc. Labeling and pictures comes up big here.

Just do it. Go slow and make sure you track EVERYTHING! took me 2 hours in my driveway with basic tools.

Labeling is key. Takes any sort of guess work out of it.

It's on, actually a pretty straightforward job. Even with the current tune on there, the car pulls HARD.
Can't wait to update the tune and get a dyno.

You should be 96% there. Glad your enjoying the only OE + 3IM disa n52

I dont know how much more can OE add, because AA is of the policy that their tune is already DISA enabled, same for eurocharged when i spoke to them waaay back.

The ECU already can run the 3 stage manifold, but a good tune should be able to add additional power on top of what is already in the ecu's permamiters.
Ops, and I already installed the updated OE tune from version 2 (of my pre 3stage tune) to my current 3 stage tune.

Fan-Freaking-Tastic. If not for the potential miss fire issue, It is perfect.

AA's claim is that they've optimized the ECU for running the the 3 stage intake, which from what I've seen, is true. And I might have believed that they had the best tune out there, until I did some more reading...

Ahh, here we go:

OE and I did a 330 manifold on a 328 2010xi wagon in July and dynoed it, you are like 7 months behind. I don't see any issues with the midrange.

Here's the customers praise:

Short form: awesome!

Long form: the final tune we ended up with was the right choice. I haven't had too many chances to really wind it out to red line, but the few I did seemed quite good. The daily drive aspects, part throttle at mid range, are simply amazing. Very well behaved and well mannered (just like stock), only significantly more power smoothly from 3000 RPM up. Drivability is still excellent, and throttle response seems better.

From your other posts I think you have a mechanical problem as you experience the problem with both files.

Here's the before and after tune baseline had manifold installed (much older file before any valvetronic R&D):
