MPG once past 1000 miles???

Many thanks for all the responses.

Whilst I do accept that mpg is hardly a key priority with this car; I, for one, still have half an eye on running costs and environmental impact nonetheless.

OK then, you rumbled me: more like a quarter of an eye on running costs and pretty much WTF after that!

At 550 miles so far I average around 28mpg - motorway miles pretty much. Whilst running in ive been doing a steady 65-70mph average using cruise cntrl.

That will soon drop drastically after 1100 mile service
