19's or 18's TSW Nurburgring on my 135i

I am looking at getting either 18's or 19's on my white 135i.

I am looking at the TSW Nurburgring Gunmetal Matte (Graphite)
The 18's have the following specs: Size: Front 18x8.5, Rear 18x9.5; Tires: 225/40/18, 255/35/18
The 19's have the following specs: Size: Front 19x8.5, Rear 19x9.5; Tires: 235/35/19, 265/30/19

I am concerned that the 19's might be too big..Would I have to make any adjustments? Also having 8.5 in the front and 9.5 in the rear, would the wheels/tires stick out or would they still be flush with the car?

thanks for any insight.

Chris

I suppose it depends on whether you will be lowered or not? I have 18" VMR's...

8.5s in the front and 9.5s in the back and had to roll my fenders and still get the occasional rub in the rears, even with quite rounded (non-squared) tires. I'm on a basic eibach suspension setup so maybe if you're stock, 19s will be ok?

Those size tires are going to be a bit stretched. I think the 18 setup is similar to what a lot of CCW folks are running and their tires, but I know a 255 on a 9.5" wheel is going to look like crap (IMO).

Yea I am not a fan of stretched tires and prefer the complete opposite. Maybe it's because I am from the domestic world where 335s go on 10.5 wheels and 275/285s on 9" wheels.

nice wheels. i think 19s would fill the wheel wells better. I would say try to run 245/35 up front and 255-265/30 in the rear..

255s on a 9.5 wheel wont look too terrible. minmal stretch .

I think brand will also matter on tires, since we know all 255s are not created equally.

Did OP ever get these wheels? Very very little info on these wheels. I want to make sure they fit, and TSW doesn't have a number to call to ask.
