I really like the 270M wheels. I'm also toying with the idea of a square setup with Breyton GTS wheels, 19x8.5 ET30 with 235/35s. They have a nice looking version in matte grey.

Did you consider just getting a set of winter tyres fitted the original rims over winter? I'm considering a set of Alpins for around £1200 then swap back to Sports for Spring.

Not really considering that. I really want a 235 width square setup for light to moderate snow. And want a dedicated set of winter wheels/tires so I can swap myself instead of re-mounting tires twice/year.

I have driven my E36 M3 through 10 winters with full size 225/245 staggered winter tires. It has worked just fine. But with the 1M torque I'm going a little more conservative.

I only fitted one side temporarily, the rear shot shows the standard 265 rear on the left and 235 winter on the right.
Obviously not as sexy as the standard set but bearable for the winter in my opinion.
The rears could probably do with spacers to push them out a bit though, judging by the shot from the front.
Bump, have these for sale. Wheels and tires brand new never used. Still in box.
