Evolve 1M and F10 M5 Photo Shoot

BMW Car Magazine came to visit us today to road test the Evolve Stage 3 1M (Evolve DP, Evolve FMIC, Evolve Rear Exhaust and Evolve Tune) so it gave us a good opportunity to get some pro shots of the cars together.

The review of the 1M will be published in the June edition of the magazine. The Editor, Bob Harper, was suitably impressed with the 1M with the Evolve additions. Looking forward to his review.

I do love the 1M in the 1M / F10 shots - makes the 1M look extra chunky. Glad I had her cleaned now ;-)

The 1M still looks dead sexy with the M5, can't decide which one I like better!

Wow Clive that certainly looks cleaner than it was the day you brought it round to my house. Which is the fastest to 100mph then?

I doubt it unless running RB turbos and/or meth.

Probably 370ish whp, which is still REALLY fun! Stock being around 300whp.

So they read similar to DynoJet? I was referencing Mustang Dynes. 1M seem to be 290-300whp range on a Mustang Dyne.

Now that I see that, it DOES say "Flywheel Horsepower". So yeah, about 370whp, which sounds about right. Maybe 345-355whp on a Mustang Dyne. A headers/tune C5 Z06 will make about that. (LS6)

The M5 (It's mental - I'm guessing 1.5 seconds faster to 100...)

The figure is at the flywheel.

C&D magazine timed the F10 M5 at 8.3 0-100 MPH. I'll do my own testing when I get the Vbox back from Clive It is mental - you get to 150 MPH scarily fast!

We should hire Bruntingthorpe for an hour or so and do some 60-130 mph's.

I love 1M's but the M5 in stock form would walk it IMO. We may find out soon for real

Clive's been out in the M5 - what do you think Clive?

As I said above, my guess is that the M5 is 1.5s quicker to 100mph than my 1M...

That's not bad considering the M5s 560hp/502ft-lbs even if it is 1870kgs.

Once someone tunes that thing it is going to be ridiculous.

Great colors together, especially with the slight HDR effect. Reminiscent of Gulf livery.

No HDR - just a very sunny day and a fill-in flash
