2011 135i 6MT M sport NO REVERSE
CAR HAS NO REVERSE! I got it from the 2nd owner who only had it a few months. First owner was in Pittsburgh, PA. Impeccably maintained using the BMW Old school maintenance schedule. I have records over every repair including oil changes since new. 72,000 Miles. Super clean. Msport package, cold weather package, black leather manual sport seats. Brand new battery. Bridgetone S04s. Front tires brand new. Runs and drives perfect in every way but trans will not go into reverse. You can put in a used trans, have this trans repaired (if you can get parts), or drive as is like I have been. Message, call or text for more details. This is a $15-$18k car if reverse worked. Car is in Grosse Pointe, MI. Clear title of course. I'm firm on the price at this point. I am aware of what a new trans costs. I enjoy the car as is. And I am crossing my fingers BMW will some day do an extended warranty on this known issue. Steve 313-269-6090 I have tons more pics but had problems posting them. Message me and I will send you more. |

Good luck, I think it should be a quick sale. There are a number of things that might be wrong and some of them aren't that difficult and certainly cheaper than a new tranny.

Hey guys. I had this car sold a few months back but the buyer backed out. It was a little odd. He was irritated that I had checked in with him a few times confirming when he was still interested and when exactly he was coming into town. After that I decided to just keep it and take the post down. I've been driving it daily. It has a couple thousand more miles on it. I installed ECS wheel spacers, 10mm and 15mm. Thats about it. If anyone is interested let me know. Not in a big hurry to sell but I have too many cars and still haven't sorted the trans issue.
Thanks, -Steve |
