BMW driver training

if so any comments?

Do yourself a favour and book in for the adavance II instead. You get to drive around the M3. - on track

+1 The Advanced I is only in the 325i. In Advanced II you really get to feel the Gs in the M3 - especially if Geoff Brabham takes you on a hot lap at the end!

Be warned though.......the M3 experience may make you do what I did!!

I hope to do advance II later on but thought you had to do I first.
Anyways had the discount on the course as i bought the car via corporate.

You can go straight to Adavnce II.

I was in the car with Geoff, and we were pretty much going side ways the whole time. Quote "... the fact that you are going sideways is no excuse for not hitting the apex"

Advance II for sure... i did it at P.I ... OMG the sound out of the M3 was just WOW... and the hotlap = insane in a good way hahahahahha

Jeff,

Level 2 training on the skid pan yes, but they do get a tad cross if you do consecutive donuts

On the track they turn the dct off 1 notch towards the end of the day. In our group (3 cars per instructor) 2 from memory were allowed to go ahead of the instructors car due to the demonstrated skill of the drivers on the day.

With your level of driving you'd be better trying to get straight into level 3 mate, I'm trying to save enough $ to do it at PI next year.

I just booked myself for advance 1 at EC 23/9/09.
I thought might as well as it may be the last opportunity that BMW may offer this.
