My 71 Nova gets most of the track time, however: it will see occasional auto-X and hopefully an open track day once or twice.

I occasionally work at Brands Hatch in Kent, its in the sat nav as a favorite at the mo... This year they might be doing a free track day for some of us, so it will definitely get a run out at some point. But maybe once I've gotten used to it on the road first!

Have you picked it up yet?

I will when I finally get my car. I've had a deposit at BMW of Austin since October 2010 and still do not have an allocation, although I'm next on the list. I'm hoping and still optimistic...

I have a Miata as dedicated track/race car to abuse but I'll occasionally take the 1M to my local track Harris Hill Road as well as Texas World Speedway, and hopefully to the new F1 track after construction is finished. And I'll probably take it to Motor Sports Ranch in Cresson when they have an event on the 3.1 mile course. I love that track!

i know it might seem like a daft question, but how many owners actually race their 1M's on a track??
each to there own and all.
my aw 1M arrives at the dealership in the morning..
thanks for any comments
Mine will see the track but mostly autox. This is more affordable for me.

Our 1M will be in a track shootout with a competition package E92 M3 and our modified 135i with as much M3 bits as one can get on the 135i.
