125i - Help with tracking my new 125i

Hi, I am a soon to be new Bmr driver -
I ordered a 125i M sport coupe just over a month ago and I am told it is now in production in Germany. Can anyne tell me the web address to track the production progress of my vehicle. ETA is June 09 and i can hardly wait!!

You need to key in your VIN number to the cargo column... make it your wait for your car thread marih...

Is it possible for us to track the production of our cars the same way they can in the USA via "Owners Circle"? Is there an Australian equivelant of "Owners Circle"?

Perhaps we can sign up for the USA Owners Circle -- if you have a US address you can use, and with our Vin #, it will give us the same info. Anyone know?

It may not be called "Owners Circle" any more -- but it's a portal BMW has for owners to get all kinds of info. It includes tracking the production of their cars, from the time they place the order. I believe it can be a bit behind, but it's more current that what BMW gives us.

I put my VIN in the owners circle I came up with nothing before so I gave up.

If you have a VIN means your car is already being built. Then when the car is in the cargo ship... then it will show up in the link I posted above.

Force your dealer to give you a VIN. They have a similar program like the US counterparts, and when I told her that the cargo is coming on 20th April. She did not see that in her screen like a week later.

what date did you order your car? I'm still trying to get a status on mine...

I ordered late Feb or early March - haven't got my paperwork here so I can't remember the exact date but i was quoted June - received the confirmation of production letter about 1 week ago from my dealer.

It's black with grey leather interior - wanted red inside but my hubby's got a 325i m with red leather and thought it would look a bit ...??? parked side by side!!!
Next month is going to drag.. but I have to sell my Honda first...

scrub my previous statement, I have the 7 digit chassis code now. I've tried backworking that into a VIN, but no sign of it on the WW site yet.

by the way, did you get your full VIN, or just the 7 digit production number? It's possible to work the VIN out from the production number (though it's a little bit complex), my vin is
WBAUD92070PTxxxxx

WBA=BMW
UD92=120d (125i coupe is UC32)
0=not used
7=check digit (can be calculated, or just try everything from 1-9 and X)
0=not used
PTxxxxx=production number (won't necessarily start with PT)

so a 125i coupe would be
WBAUC320x0xxxxxxx

when I was waiting for my MINI I ended up memorizing the VIN, and can still remember it 5 years later

7 digit code sounds like a production number

hmmm.. I should check the status on mine.. the sales on holidays, but might just check with the person doing the settlement - she would know everything She's already got my plate

just found out you can use % as a wildcard character, so if you enter % before your 7 digit chassis/production number on the WW website, it will come up

WBAUC32% will come up with all RHD 125i coupe's

(mine still isn't on there, but the car 15 number before it is....)

You have to go to the main page first, and login as a guest, and then you reload that link .

I luv my car ; i Luv my car ! I luv my 125 i -
Depressed last week - some mongrel scratched the bonnet - suspect it was the hand car wash late Friday night - after much arguing they wouldn't accept liability - searched the video tape but it was very grainy - I was depressed the whole weekend!!: I have only had the car 3 months!!
Luckily the scratch is not down to the metal - i think it can be touched up with paint.

Will have it checked out this week. Now I am washing the car myself!!
