What size and offset?
I really like the RPF-1's, however the faces seem to bubble out with high offsets.. if only the faces looked like these, i'd pick up a set instantly for myself! but that face is only available for wider, low offset rpf-1. |

those wheels aren't made in any size/offset combinations that work well for the e82. they're probaby the common bmw size of 18x8.5 et40. it'll work if you get some narrow tires, but it's not ideal.

not really sure where this info comes from, but as far as i've seen, they only make them in 8.5 and 10" wide for bmw. the 8.5 is very borderline, and the 10 is a no-go. philosophically, the potential concavity of the face is a factor of width and offset (or the frontspacing, if you will)... not just width.

not to be negative, but that's not likely to be solved by just rolling fenders. you'll probably have to cut/pull fenders... or raise your ride height... or get narrower tires... or different wheels.
there are a few people on here using 255 tires on 40 offset rears, but it's definitely not advisable. |

I think it looks awesome if you can get them to not rub.. caps are so so.. would be better if you change the caps to something else.. but the AW and the black contrast looks really good.

Hate to be negative but you asked for opinions. I don't like them at all.

a fender roll is sufficient for a 255 on an 8.5 et 40.
Try to make it a square setup tho...thats where it gets interesting. |

I love the RPF1's and FWIW they look great on on your ride too! Just a small cautionary tale. I got a brand new 15x7" set last spring for my CRX race car (stock diameter is 14"). I chose the 15" size for weight savings since it's less than 10lbs per rim vs. 14.5 lbs for Kosei K1 of the same size. They fit with lots of clearance with my stock brakes and 10" rotors, however I also had a Wilwood brake upgrade with 11" rotors on order and when I installed them the RPF1s did not clear the calipers. The way the RPF1 barrel is made is really narrow on the 15" version and hits the caliper whereas my Kosei K1s fit without any issues. Lesson learned! IF you ever want to upgrade your brakes with a larger diameter rotor caliper clearance may become an issue. All I can say is do your homework.
