BBS LM et 35 19x8.5 question

I currently have 19x8.5 authentic LMs et 35 with michelin rubber 235-35

will these fit on the 135i lowered or will there be slight rubbing issues like i have on my E46 ?

Thanks

IMO, you will have rubbing issues. Early experience from those that have experimented with after market wheels show us that 8.5" wide fronts need about 40mm offset, while rears need 45mm or more offset to accomodate 9.0" to 9.5" without "rubbage".

Garage List
2008 135is  [9.50]
2010 Cooper S  [10.00]
1991 318is  [10.00]
Does that mean a 5mm and 15mm spacer respectively for those wheels or will they look 90's Geo Tracker style coming out of the fender wells?

35 offset on those wheels will not work up front. They might work in back, but you'd be downsizing from 245's to 235's, and that's not a great thing to do.

LMs are nice looking though...

Adding spacers reduces the offset by the thickness of the spacer. So, you'd be ET20 and ET30... you'd look like a Geo Tracker.

do you rub at all? with the 225s? I know how unpractical it is to run LMs and not have some rubbing but i want to avoid rubbing as much as possible.
