Retrofit iDrive Cup Holder

Has anyone installed the Retrofit iDrive Cup Holder from the United BMW site? I'm looking for installed photos, comments, and/or installation info.

The Retrofit iDrive Cup Holder appears to have been removed from the United BMW site, so this is no longer needed.

Me too...I want to add this but think I would have to cut the center console and would like to see how others have done this before me.

Mine came factory installed, so I don't know about cutting. I do however know it definately fits in a manual car.

Thanks for the info! Any chance of a quick photo? If I can see what it looks like installed, I can probably figure out what it would take to "retrofit" it.

edit: Probably should mention mine is a manual without iDrive.

Mine came with this installed as well. I actually took the cup holder itself out because it got in the way of my 4th to 5th shift as well as 5th to 6th and just looked out of place. It looks as though they had to cut the trim to get in there, I will snap a picture later.

This didn't sound good, so I checked the United BMW site this morning to look at the parts diagram again. Lo and behold, the Retrofit iDrive Cup Holder is gone! I had talked to Dan yesterday before posting this, so it looks like maybe he decided not to offer this after all. Just as well... I had decided not to buy it!
