Carbon Fibre 1 series Roundel Caps
Hi all, I've been seeing some carbon fibre parts for the 1 series. Some may be the hood, trunk or interior parts. One thing I haven't seen yet are the carbon fibre roundels for all the caps on the car.
They are available for most of the other BMW models but not the poor little 1 series. Has anyone encountered them or know where they are available? For those that don't know what I'm talking about, here's a link to the roundels (for a different model) http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...roducts_id=946 |

The sizing is similar. What I did instead was get black overlays so it becomes black and white... great look on a JB.
You can get carbon weave from Bimmian... the only thing I recommend because their stuff is quite expensive (eg. find much cheaper by looking a bit harder)

There are some on eBay for about $100. Includes front hood, trunk, and four wheel roundels in full carbon fiber.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AIT&viewitem= I am suspicious about these because I measured my roundels, and the trunk one does not match their listing, hence why I have not bought them yet. |

Why are you going around touching your roundels? I have black overlays and I everyone has remarked... "What? Stickers?" When they say the black looks good.
On the e39, I have full CF (weave) roundels. They looks tacky... until I tried the black/white and immediately put back the CF ones. It helps when you have CF parts all over the car

I was hoping to have the CF roundels on my hood, trunk, wheels and maybe on the steering wheel.
think the CF black would look good on my soon to own sedona red? I saw that bimmian will soon have the red CF variant. Hmmmm red CFs on sedona..... Qube, have you been getting good feedback from the new roundels you installed? |

I went on a cruise with e90post guys, almost all of them had CF roundels, most black, but red and blue as well. I actually liked the blue best, still very BMW, think I'll go that way myself.
