The multi-function steering wheel, what are the multi functions?

Please please please someone tell me that those bars are a boost gauge or something actually useful.

Bars are the rpm points... useful for shifting..

so they climb the wheel- and when they reach the top you're at redline? thats pretty sick - though in the last 7 years of driving stick... I rarely look at the RPMS, i just know the shift points from sound and feel of the engine. Guess it would look cool... would be so much cooler as a boost guage.


Does the wheel do anything else?
