Lower case and space in iDrive address book

Anyone know how to enter either a lower case character or a space while entering a name in the Address Book.

I haven't find a way to do it but do you think it's really necessary?

I would not like to have my address book yell at me and look like a run-on sentence. Then again, I must be online too much.

I'm looking for this capability for my navigation addresses and not my phone listings (these are all maintained in my phone and transfer to the iDrive evry time I enter the car).

for the navigation address book, i haven't found the lower case option. i never even thought of it actually.

what if you typed in a long address name? perhaps it may automatically change to upper & lower case to preserve space. maybe it just won't change and stays upper for easy and quick reading.

not even entered my head. too busy enjoying the driving!!!!

i will check this out myself and report back my findings unless you or someone else gest to it first.

space is the dash/hyphen after the letters.

Quick check but I could not find any lower case presets or deliberate inputs in nav adddress book.
