What is online information services?
Our car has been built and is waiting for us in Germany. Just reviewing all the items listed as being in the car and found item 615 Online Information Services. Does anyone know what that is? Thanks.

I guess the feature gets some covering in the latest BMW magazine. It gives some access to Internet, for example you can get Google maps in your car.

I called BMW NA customer relations. All they could tell me was that it was part of Assist. Not much help.

Hmm, I have an 09 w/ iDrive and Assist; do I have this too? Connected Drive (i.e. full internet) is a Euro only option though.

My car was in at the dealers for 3 days about 2 weeks ago. They still couldn't tell me what option 615, online information services is. The next step was for them to ask BMW. I'm still waiting for a reply.
