UK sat nav update

Works great i did my nav last night took around 15min just kept car running while it updated

Bit the bullet and managed to order from BMW today.

There was a slight issue with one guy saying the only update for my car was the 3 DVD 2014-1 version but in the end that was because his pc wasn't running the up to date software. The guy (same part dept) that confirmed the 2015-2 USB was available was running the latest software synced to Germany.

Anyway, 2015-2 Europe West and FSC should be on its way, and the price was a lot more realistic than the nonsense I was quoted last year.

and a lad on ebay gave me the FSC code for life 25 euros

Update done with no issues.

Nipped out for a little drive and it took around 50 minutes to do the update from 2011 maps via the glovebox USB.
