Yep, another new tire thread

Just put on a new set of Toyo Proxes T1 Sport. I seriously thought people on here were being overly dramatic about the RFT's. Yes the RFT's are loud and hard but it's a low-pro tire and its the only tire I ever had on the 135. One short ride in the pouring rain no less and I'm sold. More quiet, more sticky, more compliant, more feedback. Oh ya and more cheap!
Can't believe I waited so long. The Toyo's are summer tires but amazing in the wet so far.
Get rid of the RFT's!!!

congrats!

By the way... Not sure you realize this based on how you worded the above sentence... but as long as it's warm, summer tires are better than all seasons or winters in the wet.

An "all-season" isn't necessary best suited for "all weather." By and large, the stickier a summer tire is in the dry, the stickier it will also be in the wet as long as the grooves and treads are well-designed and deep enough to give ample room to move water out of the tires way to make a good contact patch. All season is a compromise between cold, warm, wet, dry, and snow. If you live in a warm climate (arizona), a summer tire will give you the best wet traction you can possibly get. Ignore this if you already knew, I don't mean to be a know-it-all, but this was news to me a few years ago
