All Wrapped Up

I decided to wrap my 1er over the winter. After about 70 hrs of labor by myself an no prior experience with wrapping a vehicle, this is how it turned out. The wrap is 3M 1080 Scotchprint Gloss Anthracite. Enjoy this pictures!

Other mods I added to the car this winter include....

- Apex ARC-8 Wheels
Front: 18"x8.5"x45mm
Rear: 18"x9.5"x62mm
- Michelin Super Sport tires
Front: 235/40R18
Rear: 265/35R18
- BMW Performance carbon fiber mirror covers
- BMW Performance Rotors
- BMW Performance Steering Wheel Electric V2
- BMW Blackline LCI Taillights
- HAWK DTC-60 brake pads (track only)
- HardBrakes.com titanium front brake shims
- Vorshlag front camber plates
- Bavarian Exclusive angel eye upgrade
- Smoked side turn signals

Your first pics are kinda dark, and I was wondering what what wrapped because I just thought your car was Space Grey. Then I saw your avatar. Nice work, looks good.

The car was Alpine White before starting the wrap. Below are a couple in progress pics. Thanks for the positive feedback!

The last five pictures were taken at Heartland Park in Topeka, KS last weekend. It was my first track event after all the winter upgrades had been installed. Grilling at the track with a group of good guys is always a good time!

Here is a comparison to a friends car that is Sparkling Graphite Metallic. My Gloss Anthracite wrap is a little lighter and has substantially more metallic. I'm very happy with the way it turned out!

Thank you! Yes, its quite amazing at how "paint-like" it really looks.

Thank you! Space Grey was the target color, but in the end, I really like this color better. Its even better in person when its sitting in direct sunlight!

Thank you! Yes, per 3M's technical literature, you are able to wax the wrap once installed. I haven't had the chance to do so yet, but will be interested in how it turns out. Will report back with details after the first waxing.

Looks amazing! I couldn't even tell that it was wrapped, looks like it was fully resprayed.

The burgers turned out really well to! I'll take the opportunity to share the recipe. Before you make the patties, try throwing diced up Jalapenos, green onions, bell peppers, cilantro and pepper jack cheese into the meat. Mix everything up and make your patties. The recipe hasn't failed me yet and I continually make new friends by sharing
