The CF Performance mirror covers ARE available from BMW. I was just looking at them the other day on the German website.

What I thought was wierd was the 2010 (BIG) mirrors cost less then the early (small) mirrors! 440 euros for the pair vs 490 euros for the early small mirrors.

That is still cheaper than over here in Germany! Even though the euro is taking a dive, it is still $$$.

440 euros = $536 USd (1 euro =$1.22), plus a half our labor from BMW @110 euros is another $67, so that is a total of: $603 USd in euro-land!

Dont forget VAT if you can't get it waived.

$600 for CF pirror covers is ridiculous. $400+ is insane as well.

The replacement caps are super easy. Just need a 90 degree too and a flat head screw driver. Have to pop off the mirror to reach the clips to the mirror cap. There is a youtube video on it.
