DIY-Remove kick panels help
Hey guys, I am in the process of upgrading my base audio and am having trouble finding how to remove the kick panels on both the driver side and the passenger side. I have searched through this section along with the connected section to see if anyone had posted how to do this. Hope someone could help a fellow 1addict out on this one. I would greatly appreciate it! Also any help on the best way to route the wires from behind the head unit to the kick panels would also be helpful. Thanks! and have a great weekend everyone!

wrong forum?
Plus, with 3xx posts you should know how to search I think. Try "door panel removal". I just read trough some posts.....

Figured this would be the best forum to post it in seeing as many of the diy removals are in here. I did search, and founds TONS, but nothing on removing the KICK PANELS, I have removed everything else, including the door panels, tweeters, seats, trunk lining, and parts of the dash. Just don't want to yank on the kick panels.

Ok guys, figured it out. the passenger side kick panel does just need to be yanked. Two clips are holding it in. On the driver side you need to unscrew the hood latch and behind that there is another screw that needs to be removed. Then you just need to pop off that panel as there is one clip holding it in. Hope this helps others down the road.
