By the way, CBC is Cornering Brake Control if I am right, needs to be edited the wording of it in your list.

Also, I bet you have the 'Euro' MDM codded as well or maybe not even needing it since you like to drive either everything off or on?

This got to be the most purpose built 1M around the Globe or one of very few.
Thanks for the CBC correction.

Yes, stock midpipes and muffler.

I do have the Euro MDM coding, but I do drive on track with everything off unless it's very, very wet.

Neil, I thought you replaced your clutch with a Spec. Previous car? Did you ever increase the spring rates when you added aero and the R1's?

Pretty impressed that you have found the balance it takes to run fast, consistent laps with essentially small tweeks to the suspension. Careful tuning I'm sure but it's not all about power! Great job!

Looking forward to learning about the single turbo conversion.

Impressive list - My car is out of warranty too now just some questions:

Was your PTF tune on track? Is there any advantage doing it that way?
Did the rear wing help to stablised the car in fast bends? Found the car always a bit twitchy.
Where are you hooking your 5pt to? I have the quickfit at the moment, and starting to feel a bit uncomfortable with just having the ASM there as the lap belt keeps riding up and much prefer to have a sub-belt

Many thanks

Quite right. Forgot about the clutch! It's a SPEC Stg. 2+ with lightweight steel flywheel.

Single turbo conversion on track for next month...

I've been running various PTF tunes both on the street and track almost since the car was new! Using the Cobb AccessPort, I can change tunes in about two minutes. Quite a useful device!

Yes, the AeroMotions wing is serious piece of engineering. It probably helped me pick up 1.5 - 2 seconds running VIR Full and made a noticeable difference in the uphill esses. Of course, the faster you go, the more downforce it creates.

I attached the sub-belt to a very beefy rod that is part of the seat frame just beneath the seat "pan." I had to break-out my dremel to cut a slot in the pan for the belt to run through. It comes up through a slit in the flap that extends from the seat to the adjustable thigh bolster.

Hey Niel, I'm curious to hear your thoughts on turbos, both the RB and why you're switching. Presumably you're mainly going for more top end for the track, and you're willing to sacrifice a little down low?

Congrats and very impressive, how much of an impact does the e93 sway bar produce, enough to bother on a DD occasional track day car?

Certainly wouldn't be noticeable on the street and produces no additional NVH (noise, vibration, harshness).

Along with the other suspension modifications, it probably helps eliminate a bit of understeer at the track, and thanks!

I think the e93 is the perfect bar for the car.

I pulled my e93 and put on the h&r which ~50% stiffer than stock and made the car understeer really bad.

I think I calculated based on some info provided by a online tuner that the e93 bar is ~7% stiffer than the e90 (1M) SB. Don't take that as gospel though.

Bar is thicker by 1mm except for the middle section in between the bushings where it necks down.

So pardon my ignorance, but I thought a thicker front bar would increase understeer, or is there some other factor at work?

I believe they are carbon fiber headlight covers to protect the headlights on the track.

My guess is the headlights were removed and they cover the gaping holes.

The passenger side headlamp location now houses part of the air filter assembly leading to the turbo behind it.

I think that is what is listed in turner site for a description.

The h and r is crazy stiff.
