LET Stage I Software Flash - $999 !!!

LET Motorsports is proud to offer our BMW 135i software tune! We are one of the first tuners in the USA to be able to offer this. We have many dealers across the USA that can flash your 135i while you wait! We have been working on this flash for 3 months and the results are finally in!

Dyno Graph below. Blue and Green runs are LET Stage I @ 12 PSI, Grey is JB3, Red is stock.

Our 135i put down 275 Whp (stock software) and 327 Whp with our Stage I flash @ 12 PSI! That's a gain of 51.9 Whp on a dyno dynamics! Our Stage I software picked up 6 Whp over the JB3 that was installed for 2 months. We left the car on the dyno and all runs were performed on the same day, with no ECU learning / adaptation time.

After cooling the car between runs, we were able to put down 332.1 Whp

We have dealers in Illinois, Florida, CA, NJ, Austrailia, South Africa, and more coming online soon.

wont this be detectable by the dealer, especially with the new 29.2 supposedly recording the boost pressure?

Just a heads up, we are a proud LET distributor in the NJ area. If you need a tune we'll set it up for you.

The current software for the MSD81 is version 32. Version 30 and above will limit trq. and toss a code.

The version that LET is using is 28.

I've seen the different versions of the software and anything below 12.5 PSI is safe in my opinion.

If I raise boost to 12.5 and above on my V28 software, it will throw a trq limiting code, but it is easily cleared and undetectable.

Our information comes from a local BMW dealership where we know high level techs. I'm still not sold on all the myths floating around, but we will report what we find as more versions come in.

I hope that helps...I wish I had more information for you.

I can personally vouch for LET. They have an amazing talent for squeezing everything they can out of the engine. I personally had a tune from another company on my AMG C32 (i know, its only a Mercedes) but I had LET jump on it, and with their parts adn tune have managed the fastest C32 in the world right now.

They are definitely at the top of their game, and their customer service is top notch.

Our 135i has a build date of 04/2008, so it is possible that your car built a few months later would have the v29 software.

Your DME (hardware) is an MSD81.

I have always preferred a software flash over a piggyback. Only you can decide which is best for you.

You are comparing apples to oranges. Our Audi flash is $449. The MSD80/81 DME is complex and as of now, the $999 price tag is very fair.

Compare our flash to Dinan or other tuners that are doing software flashes for the N54. You will find that our price is below most others.

Dinan - $1999
Turner Motorsports - $1299.00
Evotech/Goodspeed - $1199.00

Something is fishy about that dyno work. That might be the lowest numbers I have ever seen for a JB3, Many jb2 members are making that amount of power, and it's not as powerful. what setting was that on, low boost? test conditions (AIT, oil, etc) of your tune vs. the JB?

On the flash side, congrats. I prefer flash tuning as well.

^^^Agreed. I am not saying that your tune isn't a good product, but I have never seen a JB3 dyno that low either.

You must have not been looking very hard. A simple Google search for 335i Dyno Dynamics returned these results.

Link 1 - 259Whp Stock 335i
Link 2 - 257Whp Stock 335i

Dyno Dynamics will almost always read lower than any other dyno.

You should be looking at the delta between the stock run and the flash / JB3. Both were very impressive.

Before "assuming" that there was fishy dyno work at play, do your homework.

Brandon@Code3Performance / Terry@BMS sent me the JB3 at no charge to use during our first track event and for data logging during our 3 month development of the software. Don't believe me..just ask them.

We wanted our software to match the performance of the JB3 and we were able to do that. The JB3 is an awesome product and I ran it on my car and was proud to market Terry's products.

Secondly, when Brandon from Code3 flew to Chicago, he witnessed the "low" numbers our dyno puts down. The same mods (181mm pulley + software) for the C32 AMG on our dyno will yield a maximum of 315whp. On any other dyno (dynojet, mustang, etc) these same mods would yield 350 - 360whp.

Now, go back to those other dyno graphs you've seen and compare the delta between the two mods and the stock / baseline number to the modded numbers. If a stock 335 put down 305whp on a dynojet and then put down 360whp with a JB3, would that be OK? I bet it would.

Ours put down 51.9whp more than stock average and 56whp more max.

Hope this clears things up....

I'll be more than happy to have any local N54 come by for a free flash with before / after dyno's. Contact me for details.

It's not a numbers game here....a higher number isn't better. You should be looking at the delta here.

We will be flashing our HP Autowerk's project 335i along with a completely stock 335i soon, so stay tune for more dyno runs!

We think this price is very competitive when compare to Dinan and Turnermotorsport.

We are also a GIAC dealer, a typical Audi/VW flash is $495 for the late model 2.0T, but it's a whopping $2000 for for a 996TT and $3000 for a 996GT2!
