^or if ya wanna go really cheap, and risk making your car look like a rice car, buy 5% window tint and put it on your tailight, you'll probably have a lot of bubbles though, it is what i used for my 3rd brakelight though and it came out extremely well

Are these pre-cut for the 1-series?

I have the Lamin-X on my RS4, headlights in light blue (car is Sprint Blue so it gels together), and yellow for the fogs (I also have yellow bulbs). Those came precut annd install was a breeze, so wondering if thhat's the case with those here?

I have seen one of the tuners recently in European Car magazine feature his car with yellow film on the headlights, wasn't too thrilled.

Yea they were precut for my car. All i needed to put them on was some water, and a heat gun, and anything used to flatten the lamin-x so there were no bubbles, took me an hour to install and they look aweseome totally worth the 70 dollars

Yeah, I installed myself the Lamin-X on my Audi's headlights and fogs, pretty easy despite the curvatures, didn't need a heat gun.

Just wonder how easy is it to take off and if any residue will be left (probably taken out easily with Goo Gone without damaging plastics)

it should be pretty easy to take off, and there shouldn't be much residue either.

Guise, I need your opinion on that...
I think the white reflector looks kinda brownish
Should I remove the paint from the white reflector and just go with a darker red?
Id love to keep it the way it is, but that brown is nasty...

Yes. I think I'd leave the reverse light clear. The whiteness of it is a nice contrast to the rest of the car, and it just looks dirty as it is right now.

why dont you take it to a tint shop and have them install a sliver of tint over the reverse light portion. like maybe a 35%?

installed the repainted tails today, looks stunnin.
the silver turning lights makes it perfekt.

to everybody whos doing this:
if you put the tails back in, adjust them befor you thighten the screws or you will have huge gaps (light to trunk and light to side panel).
most important: put some spacer between the taillight and bumper.
if you dont, the taillight wil sit on the bumper. i used 2mm thick hard-paper.
didnt recognize it the first time and had to do it again, especially the passanger side is a PITA if you have the storage net on the side installed.
