Trip to NED Earlier This Week
I ran the 135 at New England Dragway on Wednesday night, with serious traction problems. I ran a 13.1 at 116 MPH, and clearly I need to drive better and pickup some drag radials.
Does anyone have any plans for the drag strip this summer?

Nice trap speed, your car is definitely cooking just need her to hook up. I've been debating on taking her to the local strip, but for me it's a slippery slope. I'll want to get faster so I'll throw more money into it, then I'll be looking for turbo upgrades, not to mention how hard drag racing is on the car so something will more than likely break. I don't want to go down that road again.

I'm hoping when it's above 55 degrees later this summer I can get better grip. Or maybe I'll cruise the classifieds for some DRs!

My best 60ft on stock runflats (which suck for traction) is a 2.071, so if you can knock down a couple of tenths on your 60ft, you could run low to mid 12s. |

116mph is good for mid 12s. you'd definitely be there with a 60' below 2.0. which is doable even on street tires.
