adaptive motor reinstall help!

so my lux AE died on me on one side. i went in to throw the stock bulbs in (not paying 80 bux for the replacement box after a year and a week of owning them). i was on the phone while pulling the bulb out and i messed up and pulled the adaptive motor out. its not like putting a bulb back in and im having a hard time getting it to seat right. does anyone have any suggestions? is there a certain angle? does anyone have a headlight off the car that they can post a pic? i cant see in there since there is no room!
