Quick HD video of my 6000k lighting setup.

Video is straight from the camera (only resized to 720p).

The angel eyes are EFX LEDs and HID bulbs are 6000k from jlevisw.com. You can also see the adaptive headlights at work too. I never knew the inside lamps lit up while turning.

They are the "white" ones.

That sucks. One of my LEDs throws codes on warm days when the car is idle. Hope it doesn't lead to burning out. Are you getting yours replaced for free?

Is there a loss in brightness by switching from the OEM 4300k bulbs to the 6000k bulbs? I ask because I only feel like the blue color is taking away from the clear usable light.

Supposedly, but visually the 6000k seem a lot brighter. The ground lights up bright white instead of a soft yellow. I'd guess that the distance you can see is a bit shorter, but I can't really notice a difference there.

4300k offers the most light output but 6000k will appear brighter because it's a pure white color compared with the duller yellow. The 6000k does not offer as much light output but the difference is maybe a 5% reduction in output around the edge of the light distribution. Most are hard pressed to notice a difference but 6000k does not automatically mean brighter as most assume.
