Who's going to Lime Rock this weekend?

Time trials with EMRA. I know I'm going and DriveHard is also going to be there with his 128i.

I wonder if Irene will be there. Kinda concerned about driving in the wet. Could be a lot of fun or disastrous, depending on whether the sliding gets controlled by me steer or by another moving or inanimate object.

same concerns here for this weekend up at Tremblant. hopefully Irene will track eastward and keep us out of the worst of it

wet autocross = a hoot
wet track = risky business

I am... But Bruno already knows that LOL..

Ive been watching.. i am thinking that being that we are there so early and get on track relatively early that we will miss any "wetness" .. It may be a little breezy.... Remember Limerock is a long way away from the tip of LI where they say it may have some effect.. Our ride home WILL SUCK !!

None the less, the last time i was at Lime rock, our last session was in the wet... raining.. not down pour... but really whats the difference, right??

our times were only 5 or 6 seconds off our fastes time in the dry... and thats was me on the RS3's.... I was very impressed BTW. I had to turn traction control on of course, and the poor dash and abs was having a field day..

and to add insult Dan with the s200 had to run top down !! ( he didnt get that wet, only waiting in false grid )

i think we will be ok.. but ill update..

So what exactly do people take to the track when it rains.... if you have to empty your car out and it's raining where do you keep all that stuff. in a tent lol?

yes blue tarp.. but actually this week end i have one of those 10x 10 pop up tents that i picked up on sale for 49.95 !!

p.s. Weather services have it hitting llime rock area sunday.... I think we will be ok.. like i said maybe breezy... but i am gonna call no rain at this point..

awesome. you're so prepared alex, lol.

also, are we allowed to wear shorts or do we need to wear long pants for these? i wore jeans to an autox around here and felt like an insane fool, it was like 100 degrees outside and i didn't know shorts were acceptable lol
