can you fit 255/35/18s in these rims ?

These are the rims I have in my 135i 2011. Original tires are 245/35/18 w/ 15mm spacers @ rear.

Would it be possible to put 255/35/18s @ the rear without mods ?
I plan to use Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

Thanks for the advice.

I'm running Bmw 264 rims with 225/255(RE760 potenza's non runflat) and no issues. I have bmw performance suspension. I had 18x8.5/9.5 rims and no issues with same tire setup. Stock rims could easily run a 10mm spacer. 15mm might be pushing it.

So far I've tried an alignment, that didn't work. The only thing left to do is to roll my fenders but I can't find anyone around where I live that does that and I don't want to spend $250 on a fender rolling tool.

I'm going to run 225 / 255 but using the Bridgestone S-04 instead of the Michelin Pilot Sports. The Bridgestons are narrower profile, that way i wont have any issues.

I'm running that size on my 135i. Many guys run the 225/255 setup just fine.

how come i read some folks here having some rub issues with the PSS 225 and 255s ? i want to be on the safe side.
I also have plans to upgrade to the VMR 710 in the near future, will this be an issue ?

18 x 8.5 - 45 offset 225/40/18
18 x 9.5 - 50 offset 255/35/18

again with michelin pilots.

Running VMR V718

18 x 8.5 - 45 offset 225/40/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sports
18 x 9.5 - 50 offset 255/35/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sports

Had this setup for a few months now, no sign of rubbing what-so-ever. Perfect fitment! And I've had my car loaded down with adults many times, still no issues.
