Things that make you laugh at car meets.
I've heard some dumb and hilarious stuff at car meets. Here are a few of my favorites.
"Yeah, the bottom end on my Honda is good to 250hp" "Oh, it's twin turbo... One little turbo feeding the bigger one." "Is this an M3?"

Fistfights over what type of oil to use....that's always fun to watch!
Looking at cars with camber and caster set up for climbing up walls and the guy telling you that he has a sub 14sec Honda.......oooooooh ok. |

It's pretty easy to get most Hondas into the 13s or even 12's without forced induction, due to how cheap and abundant parts and motors are. A little over 200whp will do the trick. You may be surprised, there's a naturally aspirated RSX that ran 11.4@122 this year, putting out around 335whp

Two things.
BMW owners who completely disregard other BMW's if they're not E46 or earlier and/or M-badged. 'Car enthusiasts' in general who are of the mistaken opinion that cars with automatic/dual clutch transmissions, and their owners, are inherently inferior. |

I can't even start to tell you how many people compliment my "M3". I mean, I appreciate it an all...but common'. Looks and sounds nothing like a throaty V8 axe murderer.

people who are obsessed with detailing......more often than not; they are duller than clay to talk to as well. then again, the majority of people at car meets are duller than clay.

The guys who insist on doing a burnout when they leave.... Because, you know, there aren't any other cars there that can do that....

Hearing people actually say some of the dumb stuff you see people write on here. Not this particular thread but the forums in general. Mostly e90 but this side too. Haha.

Snickering at the "s" I "added" to my 135i badge. Was a very common reaction from other BMW drivers.

If you're at a BMW or other reasonably high end meet, or even autox day. Sometimes a highschool kid in a beaten up Honda with no exhaust will do a pull in the street. I guess to impress us?
My reaction is always, "cool story bro" |
