M235 muffler on a 135?

I've been toying with the idea of trying to fit the M235i performance muffler on my 135. I haven't got some exact measurements on it yet but I'm.assuming you would need the 1m trunk liner/under tray, a custom diffuser or modify stock and a good muffler shop. Also the midpipe connects to the muffler on the passanger side as opposed to driver side so my thought was to just flip the muffler over so it would line up with the midpipes.

Any thoughts?

This actually would be a lot of work and could sound very different than intended.

Sounds like a cool project though.

If you're going to go through the hassle of converting your setup to dual, I would just go custom. The cost of the m235i performance muffler won't be cheap, so conversion cost + PE muffler is going to be a very costly project.

If you're just going for sound and oe quality / fitment, then I'd suggest the Performance Exhaust meant for our cars.

Its really hard to reinvent the "wheel". The Performance Exhaust(by all accounts) is such a great piece of work. I am so happy with mine.

The mufflers actually not bad. Ecs has it listed for around $770. The diffuser is around $440. Not sure how much the 1m parts go for to make room for the larger muffler. One thing I miss about my e90 is the duel exhaust. Plus I have heard the M235 before and it did sound really good. Obviously won't sound exactly the same since mine is an n54. If its gunna be ridiculously expensive then ill just have to make due with the PE for the 135...which sounds awesome as well!
