Looks sweet! I don't get why people would waste money on CF and then get it painted..

I would do this if it wasn't so much hassle to get it insured & shipped over here.. Then can just get a local BMW repair center or anyone for that matter to spray it

Do not get anything from ebay unless its a reputable manufacturer. IF you are not going for a carbon fiber spoiler, make sure you get a replica from a reputable manufacturer.

iCarbon makes the piece in carbon fiber and also in fiberglass (frp). However, they use vacuum assisted resin transfer method in their manufacturing, even for the fiberglass products, which pretty much no one else does. That ensures your pretty much getting the best quality in fiberglass. And their fitment is perfect and guaranteed.

The only drawback is that I heard they are going to stop producing pieces in fiberglass altogether, so IF you're lucky, you might be able to get your hands on one of their frp pieces so you don't have shell out the extra cash for the cf.

Do you have a link perhaps? Looks on their site (shopicarbon.com) but saw no mention of the FRP one.

you have to contact them directly since they dont mass produce the FRP ones, think they only do them at request
